The recent workshop on the Duties & Practices for Good Governance of Non-Profits was well attended by representatives of over a dozen local charities and not-for-profit organizations.
Community Builders in Action: PEP Seniors Therapeutic Centre
Established in 2014, PEP was developed in response to a growing community need as part of the Seniors Strategy of Ontario’s Action Plan for Health Care. PEP's day program provides a therapy-centered approach to care.

The Need for End-of-Life Hospice Care: A Community Conversation
There is no permanently-funded palliative care program or hospice in the Perth area. In response to this information, PDCF co-hosted a Vital Conversation with The Hospice Hub.
Scholarships & Bursaries
Each year, the Perth and District Community Foundation administers over $14,000 in scholarships and bursaries. Congratulations to all the students who graduated this spring!
Affordable Housing: A Vital Conversation
On Monday June 5th, PDCF co-hosted a Vital Conversation with Building Lanark Affordable Housing (BLAH!), which is organized through The Table Community Food Centre. About 30 people gathered at St Paul’s United Church to hear about options that can make housing more accessible and community-focused.
