Give the Gift of Community
Give the gift of community this holiday season by making a donation in their name to the Perth & District Community Foundation.
PDCF is dedicated to strengthening the quality of life in Perth, Drummond/North Elmsley, Lanark Highlands, and Tay Valley townships.
Through community grants, collaboration, and capacity building, PDCF supports local organizations whose work contributes to strengthening community so that everyone belongs and thrives, today and in the future.
Our Community Granting Fund supports:
- social programs for young and old, such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, YAK Youth Services, Lanark Highlands Youth Centre, PEP Senior’s Therapeutic Services and the ConnectWell Diner’s Club
- artistic and cultural connections through programming such as the Lanark Lit Festival of Writing, Stewart Park Festival, and special exhibits at local museums (Middleville & District, Dalhousie Museum & Library)
- the infrastructure needed for community gathering, such as upgrades to the Watson’s Corner Hall and McDonald’s Corners Agricultural Hall
- organizations that strengthen community safety such as Lanark County Interval House, Lanark County Community Justice, and Rideau Search & Rescue
- grass-roots projects like the Perth Dog Park, the Linden Housing Co-Op and QCL’s documentary “There’s a Place for Me Here”
