This fund supports the work of Lanark County Interval House and Community Support (LCIHCS), providing emergency shelter and support for women and children fleeing domestic violence.  As the only emergency shelter in Lanark County, LCIHCS offers secure and confidential housing, crisis intervention and emotional support.  Beyond immediate safety, the organization provides counselling, advocacy and education to help clients rebuild their lives.  LCIHCS also engages in community outreach, public education and programs aimed at preventing gender-based violence.

To cover the cost of PDCF's operations, administration and programming. Programming includes community development, capacity-building workshops for local organizations, facilitation of conversations important to community, the Vital Signs report, and free meeting space for community groups.

5% of the total fund is used each year to support the work of the Youth Action Kommittee (YAK)

Five percent (5%) of the total fund is used each year to support The Table Community Food Centre, including The Table's Good Food Bank and its Community Meals, Falls Food Hub, Community Garden, Community Kitchen, Children & Youth, Community Navigation, and other programs.

The Perth and District Union Public Library endowed fund can be used for general library programs and projects.

5% of the Perth and District Union Public Library Collections Fund is disbursed annually to support purchases of books or other library collection materials (print or electronic.)

5% of this fund is disbursed annually to The Perth and District Union Library to support their children and youth literacy programming.

The MERA (McDonalds-Corners Elphin Recreation & Arts) award was established in 2008 and is awarded every 2 years to a local area artist or craftsperson who demonstrates excellence in their work and resides in Perth, Lanark Highlands, Drummond/North Elmsley or Tay Valley Townships.

5% of the total fund is used each year to support the work of Lanark County Community Justice

This bursary was established by the Kiwanis Club of Perth-on-Tay when they ceased club operations in 2021.
